Thredbo Launch 2023 Winter Season Passes and Experiences

Thredbo have released their season passes, day tickets and snowsports lessons for the upcoming 2023 winter snow season.

As expected and in similar vane to the 2022 winter, Thredbo have set capacity limits on season pass sales. After being on sale for 24 hours, they are now halfway through their season pass allocation.

The resort said they will be providing added value and leveraging capacity management to deliver a premium experience alongside Australia’s best skiing and snowboarding. This will be Thredbo’s biggest winter offering ever, with a full entertainment calendar, adding new events and increasing bookings for their popular on mountain experiences.

When their snow season starts on June 10 for the long weekend opening, expect the party to be in full swing all season long. The season ends on October 2.

The combination of their European style village and Australia’s biggest vertical and longest runs enabled them to be voted Australia’s best ski resort for the sixth year in a row at the 2022 World Ski Awards.

Thredbo General Manager, Stuart Diver said he is confident that the recently redesigned business model will ensure that continues to deliver this “premium snow experience”.

"Every year, we're improving Thredbo's offering. This winter, we’ll continue to prioritise capacity utilisation on the mountain. We’ll provide guests with even more added value through our biggest-ever winter calendar of events and experiences. We’re continuing to roll out developments across our lifts, snowmaking system and more. We know that the upgrades we make each year are building upon each other to create an unrivalled winter experience in Australia,” said Mr Diver.
