Swimmers will be eagerly awaiting the reopening of the Jindabyne indoor swimming pool after major upgrades and renovations.

The pool will reopen to the public from Saturday 23 September 2023, after an extended closure that has seen significant upgrades to pool infrastructure, and complete replacement or overhaul of much of the building’s structure.

The ventilation system has been completely replaced, along with the steel roof structure and building support beams. This modern HVAC system greatly improves climate control and air quality.

Council said they would like to thank the Jindabyne community for their support and understanding while the pool has been closed for works.

The newly renovated Jindabyne facility is a five lane indoor heated pool, making it perfect for use all year round. The main pool is 25 metres in length, with a max depth of 1.8 metres and a minimum depth of 1 metre.

The pool fees range from single adult, child, pensioner and concession, annual passes for family or individuals, plus various multi visit passes. The pool is located in the Nuggets Crossing complex at 1 Snowy River Avenue, Jindabyne.
