Launched in 2025, Snowy Mountains Nutrition has a mission to change the way the region shops for health and fitness supplements, bringing an exciting new level of convenience to locals who are serious about their health, fitness, and wellbeing.
The idea for the business came from lived experience. Founder Jess had been ordering her go-to products — protein powders, pre-workout powder, protein bars and more — online. But for someone living outside the city, the reality of getting those orders was far from simple. Deliveries would end up at the Berridale Post Office, meaning extra travel time just to collect them. On top of that, she found herself making costly monthly trips to Canberra simply to restock her favourite supplements.
After countless drives and mounting frustration, Jess began to ask herself the question: why wasn’t there a local store to fill this gap? The supermarket range was small, prices per serving were higher than online, and quick access was almost impossible.
One evening, in conversation with her future mother-in-law and fiancé, Jess voiced the idea that had been brewing for months — starting her own online supplement store for the Snowy Mountains region. The vision was clear: to offer locals within a 60km radius next business day delivery, making it easier than ever to get essential products without the wait.
“Essentially, I wanted to provide the Snowy Mountains region with what I wish was available to me during my own health and lifestyle change journey,” Jess explains.
“It can be incredibly frustrating trying to get products quickly in this area, and not everyone plans ahead for what they might need in 1–2 weeks’ time. We want to fill that void by offering local next business day delivery to locals, from Cooma to Perisher and Thredbo at extremely competitive prices across a huge range of brands.”
The store has already launched with an impressive range of brands catering to all dietary needs, and Jess says the product list will continue to grow. If they don't have the brand you like, let them know. They are more than willing to make special orders for customers and keep the items in stock.
Behind the scenes, Jess worked hard on her studies, completing her Masters in Nutrition and earning certifications in Hormone and Fat Loss Nutrition, Sports Endurance Nutrition, and Prenatal and Postnatal Coaching. A new addition to the family has also kept Jess and her husband Jarrod (General Manager) busy in all facets of life as they attend to parenting and running the business.
