Snowy Monaro Regional Council has announced that 42 local Snowy Monaro community initiatives have been awarded grants totalling more than $280,000 thanks to the 2026 Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund.
The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund was established as part of the NSW Government's approval for the Boco Rock Wind Farm project. Each year, a portion of the wind farm's revenue is set aside by the wind farm’s operators, TILT Renewables, to support local community initiatives.
The fund supports projects, events, and organisations that make the Snowy Monaro community so great.
The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund Committee—made up of community members, councillors and TILT Renewables representatives—assesses applications against a comprehensive set of assessment criteria to determine funding allocations.
