Thredbo will come alive in February with $120 thousand of cash and prizes up for grabs in the biggest gravity mountain bike festival in Australia.

THE Cannonball MTB Festival will be firing on all wheels when up to 2500 riders descend on Thredbo Village for what is a spectacle to behold. To put it mildly, it will be a thumping week of high-octane action, live music and an unbeatable festival atmosphere.
World-class pro riders, keen amateurs, and juniors will all be striving to win their category, and for the pros, the coveted title of being crowned king and queen of Cannonball.
With live entertainment all week long – capped off by a massive Saturday night send-off party – it’s a non-stop celebration of mountain biking culture.
Riders arrive early in the week for practice before the main action starts on Wednesday, and it does not let up until the very end.
