The Krazy Kosci Klimb is one of Cerebral Palsy Alliance's most unique events, the focus is on challenging young people living with cerebral palsy or other disabilities to reach a goal they may never have believed they could. The event is also a fundraiser.
The Krazy Kosci Klimb is an empowering event for young people living with cerebral palsy or similar disability. 18 lead participants, each assisted by their support teams are challenged to reach the top of Mount Kosciuszko.
The Krazy Kosci Klimb will start and finish at Charlotte Pass on 10 – 12 February 2023.
From Charlotte Pass we trek the summit trail over the Snowy River, past Seamans Hut (built in 1929 as a memorial to skiers Laurie Seaman and Evan Hayes) and up to Rawson Pass. From there it’s only another 1.5km to the top of Australia.
At every 1.5km – 2km we set up Checkpoints providing a place to stop, rest and re-fuel.
