THE Lake Jindabyne Hotel Bushpigs rugby union team will play a home semi final this coming weekend after a huge win last weekend over rivals Cooma at John Connors Oval, Jindabyne.
What started out as a tense tussle in the first 20 minutes soon escalated into a big win for the Bushpigs, running away with the game in the second half to easily win 59-7.
The victory enabled the Bushpigs to finish the regular season in 3rd place overall, securing the home semi final against 4th placed Braidwood Redbacks Rugby Union next Saturday. Bugendore and Taralga finished 1st and 2nd respectively.
Kick off this Saturday will be 2:30pm plus the game will be LIVE STREAMED on Cluch.
In a great result for the Wildbrumby Distillery Miss Piggies, they topped the Country pool of the ACT Women's 10s competition at the end of the regular season, ensuring a home semi final against Royals as the 3rd placed team in the City pool.
They'll kick off at 1:40pm this Saturday prior to the Bushpigs game in what will be a great afternoon of rugby at J.J. Connors Oval for the local teams. The Miss Piggies game will also be livestreamed on Cluch.
